1. Do you accept Bank Cheque, Bank Draft or major credit cards?
No, we do not accept these modes of payment.
2. How about Letter of Credit (L/C) then?
Yes, only for Sri Lankan buyer. Normally its 40% cash and 60% LC. The 40% payment can either transfer through Western Union or any Money Remittance Services.
Singapore Automobile.com (the ’Offerer’) will only accept a L/C that you (the‘Buyer’) marked “irrevocable?. Any discrepancies in the L/C that result in bank charges shall be borne by the buyer. Of course, if this is the first time you are purchasing from us, we will gladly advise you on how to go about preventing such discrepancies, which will also prevent a delay in the handing over of your car.
3. What currencies do you transact in?
We prefer to transact in Singapore Dollars if your payment is made via L/C or money remittance.. However, we do accept US Dollars as quotation for easy reference.
4. Are the prices in FOB of CIF?
Listed prices are quoted in Ex-Singapore and in Singapore Dollars. They do not included local handling charges, freight, insurance and any other charges imposed by your country’s import regulations.

6. What time is it in Singapore now?
Our time zone is GMT Time +0800.
7. May I inspect the vehicle?
Yes, of course. It can be arranged if you let us know about your request in advance. Do note that all additional accessories and inspection cost are to be borne by the buyer.
8. Can you tell me about the order process?
You can complete the order process in just 3 simple steps:
1. Contact us Call us on our mobile or email to sales@singaporeautomobile.com to check on the availability and price of the vehicle(s) you are interested in.
2. Confirm your order A Proforma invoice will be faxed over to you immediately if you are agreeable to the purchase terms and conditions. Please sign on the bottom right side of the Proforma invoice and fax it back to us to indicate your acceptance of the offer.
3. Payment and delivery We will reserve your vehicle(s) for a maximum of 3 business days (excluding Saturday) upon receiving your signed copy of the Proforma invoice. Please ensure that you send a Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) for 100% of the price of the vehicle(s) in CIF (including Flight and insurance charges) to us and fax over the receipt within this 3-day period. If this is the first time you are purchasing from us, a 50% payment via T/T is acceptable.
Do note that we do not reserve your vehicle(s) beyond this 3-day period, and they may no longer be available to you should you miss this reservation deadline, as vehicle(s) will then be sold on a first-payment-basis.. However, we will do our best to extend your reservation period if your payment is delayed after being made, so do inform us swiftly should such a situation arise. Once we have confirmed your payment, we will put your vehicle(s) onboard the first available vessel.
9. How do I get hold of the relevant documentation of my purchase?
Singapore Automobile.com will receive the B/L and other relevant documentation from the Shipping Agent within 3 to 5 working days after vessel’s actual departure. We will then forward them to you using EMS, DHL or FedEx courier service, which allows you to trace the whereabouts of your documentation over the Internet. You should receive them within 4 to 5 days from the vessel’s actual departure date, provided full payment had been received by Singapore Automobile.com.
